We’ll go through the design process in small stages that feel comfortable and empowering. You will learn about the permaculture based principals of zones of use, microclimate influencing vectors, maximizing sun and shade resources, growing healthy soils and more. How does it flow, what emotions are revealed, what do you want to harvest? We will consider factors such as views, aspect, elevation, wind, fire, road noise and water. You can also rely on me to effectively incorporate the technical aspects of irrigation and erosion control, infrastructure, and hardscape that I’ve learned from hands on garden building for decades. I also design decks and purgolas.
